Yeah, keep in mind that I am 5’8”. Height and proportions definitely make a difference. And there are certainly things I cannot wear for similar reasons.

Those colonial red petal pushers look so fun and stylish… on you. Love the look, and the color even more. Just tried them in the store- both in petite and misses, ( at 5’3” , short waisted, more tummy than hips, and shapely calves; I always test out both lengths in everything possible) but the cut and length didn’t flatter my proportions. Even tried the drawstring cuffed pants in the same lovely faded red. The length and front view were flattering, but the back was oh so… not— too saggy. Nothing came home with me this time.

I tried … but not for me. Guess I’m a crops or ankle enthusiast.
