Hello gals! Well, it’s plum hot here! How about where you are? I’m hoping we get some more cooler spring days because this is feeling a tad like summer. And I need more spring days to wear this elegant black floral blouse I’m sharing with you today.
Actually, this lovely loose fitting polyester blouse is not hot at all. So I’m sure I’ll continue wearing it easily into the summer. I just love the contrast of black with the pretty pinks and greens.
Here I chose to pair the floral blouse with my white jeans for a fun date night look, but Sunday I wore it with my black pants and black pumps. It looked so elegant! Even James commented on how sharp I looked!
The comfortable elasticized neckline is versatile. You can wear it just as I am or off the shoulder.
I think this black blouse/white jeans duo definitely calls for black sandals. Mine are no longer available, but I’ve linked to some pretty options in the shopping widget. And here are the newer version of mine.
This blouse, along with all other tops, is 30% off today at Talbots. It’s part of their RSVP collection, so it’s meant to be worn for your dressier occasions. But I think it’s lovely for going to lunch with the gals or a simple date night, too.
Thanks so much for dropping in today. I hope you enjoyed the post. Maybe you’d like to pin it to one of your Pinterest boards or share it on Facebook. You can use the social share buttons below to do that.
Have a blessed and beautiful spring day!
Blessed for My Day
Today James and I are celebrating. One year ago today he lost his job in a most unexpected and ugly way. In fact, we lost much more than a job. And we were crushed.
But God has been amazingly faithful and good to us. We have never felt His presence or seen His hand move or heard His voice like we have this past year. He as overwhelmed us with His love and provision and protection. And He has blessed us mightily and in so many ways. So today, instead of grieving, we are celebrating the goodness of the Lord. Indeed, the joy of the Lord has been our strength.
Then he said to them, “Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” ~ Nehemiah 8:10
