Remember, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is not an end-of-season or clearance sale. The items they feature in this annual sale are mostly fall and winter new arrivals. So it’s fun to peruse the #NSale Preview even if you don’t plan to shop it. You absolutely can shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for great bargains on wardrobe staples at lower price points. But I do also like to use this annual pre-fall sale to splurge on a few higher ticket items that I won’t be able to get later in the season at these prices. The way I see it, since I’m buying these splurge items before the fall season even begins, I’ll be able to get even more wear out of them than I would if I were to wait for them to go on sale later, thus lowering the price-per-wear.

Well the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Preview opened yesterday on their website, and it was all consuming for the latter part of my day. I’d say I was on the website at least 8 hours looking through every single offering for women, from clothing to accessories to shoes to beauty products. The verdict? I’m extremely impressed. And as good as the selections are, I’m even more excited about the fall trends I saw represented in the sale.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale will be wrapping up this coming Sunday, so I thought I’d share one last post with my favorite purchases from the sale. As I gathered up everything I had ordered, returned and kept (so far), I was a little surprised at how this sale wound up for me. For instance, I didn’t get a blazer. I almost always get a blazer in the #NSale. And I would be very disappointed except I found so many other great things that I’m thrilled with.
