I have tons of these pants, that I have collected over the last 2-3 years. Just bought the chambray one. I also have many of these guaze shirts. These are my typical outfits too in summer.
Thanks for showing some "truely" affordable fashion this time around.

I have those pants in a natural color from last year. JCrew factory keeps the same classic styles. Usually they add a new color. On me the pants run a little big but I don't mind it in the summer heat. It's spring in Texas. I was able to wear sandals on Sunday. Thanks for the ideas on how to style these pants.

Oh I don’t think so. But I could be wrong! Ha! I think this is one of those style formulas I’ll be wearing forever just because I love it. But to the point just last year we were talking nonstop about it being the year of the white tank, and one of the main ways I was seeing the tank styled was under a linen or gauze or cotton poplin shirt. I’m seeing this same formula in lots of catalogs and websites already again this spring. So I certainly don’t think it’s out of style. I’m curious, have you seen other resources say that it is? I’d love to know.

As someone who lives in Texas, an open shirt as a completer piece is very practical. Due to our weather, this is something I'll continue to do whether it's in style, on trend or not. For much of the year the weather is too warm for blazers, jackets, and sweaters.
