Frankly, for me the only way to have a “work/life balance” is to get rid of the “work” part! ahaha Really! We decided to live under our means, and retire relatively early so we could travel and generally do what we want when we want to. We have ZERO debt (not even a mortgage or car loan) and I wouldn’t trade my stress-free life with anyone I know. I don’t need a big fancy house or car. We have a very comfortable home and 2 nice vehicles. But most important of all, we have our health, our family and FREEDOM! All priceless to us. The decision we made to “downsize” and pay off ALL debt years ago, is really paying off now. BEST decision we ever made. As much as we both loved our work, it was still “WORK”…And it still requires TIME…time away from family and time we weren’t traveling and doing things that gave us even MORE joy. Time is finite and we now have the freedom to choose how we use it. NO greater feeling. I highly recommend it!

So aging gracefully is not something we coast into, is it? It takes real effort and perseverance. I’m so glad you are enjoying and benefiting from my content. That is very encouraging to me.
