I am one of those mothers who will continue to mother. I have a 21 year old daughter with Down syndrome and a 20 year old son with autism. Thank you for seeing me and remembering me. For decades I felt Mother’s Day didn’t apply to me. Thankfully a few years ago my church started to address how women without biological children still could be mothers.
