Look at the site for golf and sport clothes called Jofit.com. It’s run by a knowledgeable lady with great taste and excellent products. I am a size 6 and wear a S in their skorts, which are excellent for hot weather. Talbots often has cute ones in their T by Talbots line.

I live in central Texas. I have to admit that once it’s 100 plus it’s hard to always look put together. I do always wear a jacket or cardigan to church regardless of the temperature. The AC is always set low. I will also take a jacket to restaurants. I wear linen and cotton in the summer. I wish the Chicos jacket came in a petite size. The length is too long for me.
