In reply to <a href="https://dressedformyday.com/21-most-popular-sellers-of-2021/#comment-24755">KP</a>.

Hello KP, I just cooked them each in some chicken broth. I tore the collards off the stem and chopped them up a bit and then covered them (2 bunches, that's all they had left at the store!) with the chicken broth. Oh, I did chop up a white onion with them. I brought them to a boil and then simmered them for about two hours, covered. The black-eyed peas were rehydrated peas, so I just cooked them in about a cup of chicken broth for about 45 minutes. I salted them after cooking. I would have added ham or bacon to either, but I didn't have them. And in the end, they all tasted very flavorful without the meat. It was delicious. Happy New Year!

thank for sharing Kay! I love reading about your wardrobe, even thought my taste might not be exactly the same, I love the ideas you give me. I have that leopard blouse but struggle to wear it, don't know why. And I totally agree about the Banana Republic t-shirts, I buy them whenever they are on sale and absolutley live in mine all year long.

Have a wonderful new year and a happy 2022. Congratulations on your daughter's engagement and upcoming wedding!

All the best!
